Mobile Component

After installation of the Mobile Component, configuration should be done within the SSP admin pages. There are no further configuration options within the Mobile Component. Please go to the SSP Admin panel and select Settings. Within settings go to the last tab called "Mobile Component".

  • Url to mobile component: This is the URL to the location where the mobile component is installed and running. Please note to use https in case the component is installed with a certificate.

  • Url to logo: Type the URL to the logo that should be displayed in the top right corner of the mobile app. Take into account that image will be scaled depending on the device used. The higher the uploaded resolution, the better it will look. The uploading of the image file should be done manually on the IIS server.

  • Url to high resolution logo: The high resolution logo will be used on high resolution screens for better graphical presentation.

  • Nr of digits in PIN: Define here how many digits the PIN code should contain. If you set this value to 0, no PIN will be required.

  • Todo view: Select the view that should be used in the Todo screen of the mobile app. The filter condition and the first 5 field definitions will be taken into account. If you define more than 5 fields, the additional fields will be ignored.

  • My Tickets view: Select the view that should be used in the My Requests screen of the mobile app. The filter condition and the first 5 field definitions will be taken into account. If you define more than 5 fields, the additional fields will be ignored.

  • Help Text: Type your help text that should be displayed in the App under the help menu option.

  • Terms and conditions: Type your license agreement and other conditions here that users need to accept in order to start using the mobile app.
