Catalog

The catalog module of Pergapedia is able to manage large amount of data to keep it up-to-date and available to your audience.

The catalog module of Pergapedia is designed to keep track of large amount of data in a structured way. Pergapedia uses templates to define the data structure. People responsible for certain data need to enter their data into the catalog using the predefined template format. We call these people data owners.

A publication process is foreseen to bring (parts of) the data to the public audience. Publication can go through a number of approval votes in order to have verified data in the public area.

Once the data is available in the public area, the audience can use advanced, google like, search functions to find the data they need.

Review cycles are in place to keep data up-to-date. Data owners are encouraged to republish their data every so many months. Review cycles are used to keep track of when the lat publication has happened and when a republish is mandatory.
