Release 7.24.05
GENERAL
Security
The webservices used by the product itself (such as the datastore webservice, the workflow webservice, the servicecatalog webservice, ...) are now by default only accessible by the local host. Should there be any other product using one of those webservices, then the IP can be whitelisted, or another solution can be created using a studio application.
Reminder: if you've installed the product yourself then please make sure you've updated the machinekey provided in the model of the web.config. Please contact us if you don't know how to do that.
Fixes
When using JavaScript or NCALC and there was an error in the script, the script itself isn't used as the result anymore.
COMMON
Changes
Added more functions to/in the CommonInterface, please see the wiki: https://wiki.smt-x.com/index.php/JavaScript
It's now possible to define a custom "access denied" page.
Fixes
The CommonInterface.getPersonGroupsForPerson now returns only the members instead of the members and managers, and also the non-active members are returned (new property "inactive" is added).
FORMS
Fixes
The security change in 7.24.03 was a bit too strict, edit or view form from the workflow didn't always gave sufficient rights.
WORKFLOW
Changes
Did some enhancements when using text files, pdf reports and Word documents as attachments in the e-mails in workflow steps.
It's now possible to duplicate steps of the type MS Word Adapter.
Fixes
There was a problem when a variable used as an escalation actor or as a person to be informed contained to many people at once.
TICKETING
Changes
Enhancements in the search person or search person group auto complete controls.
SERVICE CATALOG
Changes
It's now possible to copy a template part by choosing any part in the current template or any other template.
Fixes
The studio apps defined as service catalog admin page (used in the left navigation in the admin) were always shown, even when the logged in user didn't had the use right for it. The app itself wasn't usable but the menu item was shown.
