# Field types

The following field types are available to collect data in a service

Fields of the type list provide users the possibility to select a value from a selection list. Use datastores defined in SSP to define the contents in the lists.

Select the datastore parameter that is used to provide content to the list. Select the field to define which column of the parameter is displayed in the list.
